Tube Cutting Machine

This machine is a corrugated tube cutter. It is used to cut both ends of a tube to various lengths, this length is determined by adjusting the position of the left-hand side cutter. Using slide rails and a spring plunger, the left-hand side cutting fixture locks into place with an adjustable location block. The right-hand side cutting fixture is bolted in a fixed position. Adjustable tube supports slide and lock into a settable position, these change parts are used to support the weight and length of the tube across the span of the machine.

A cutting cycle is controlled via a green ‘Start’ button. Once pressed and the light guards are clear, both cutters will simultaneously extend, then retract to the original position.
