Automotive part – Clip Assembly Jig

Specialist Tooling Technologies Ltd have many years experience supplying into the Automotive sector.

The Clip Assembly Jig shown here was designed to semi automate the procedure of fitting Clips to plastic mouldings.

An operator would first load Clips into the various location and then load the moulding and clamp in place with the Toggle Clamps.

Sensors confirm that the Clips and the moulding are in place prior to operation.

This Rig also had a cropping tool for removal of the Gate from the moulding process.
