Repair For Extended Working Life

All manufactured parts have a service life, but when that day occurs when a component fails, the replacement part can end up being very costly, not only in terms of the purchasing price but also in lost production.

This repair work was carried out on a fabrication from our customer’s production lines. The repair gave our customer a fast turnaround to get their production line running, it will have been cheaper than getting a new fabrication made and it was designed so that the new bearing locations could be replaced at a later date when they reach the end of their service life.
